That this House notes with deep sadness the closure, after 119 years, of Dynevor School in Swansea; and pays tribute to generations of head teachers, teachers and other staff who have contributed so much to the good education of so many people in the Swansea area, including the new Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, Sir Harry Secombe, Spencer Davies and Maldwyn Pope.

That this House salutes the courage and selflessness of mountaineer and charity fundraiser Peter Legate of Hythe, Hampshire, who lost his life on Mount Everest on 30th April in the course of a sponsored climb for a deaf children's charity and a children's hospice; and urges support for the Peter Legate Everest Charities Fund in its efforts to continue his great work, both for Children Say and for Naomi House Children's Hospice.
